Here are some of the best vertical PC cases you can buy. These cases help you save desk space without compromising component compatibility.

There are quite a few compact PC cases on the market that offer small height, footprint, and even carry-on handles for better portability. However, they still end up taking quite a bit of space on the desk, and I believe vertical PC cases are a better choice in this area. Vertical PC cases are taller, but their width and depth are much less compared to traditional compact cases. This allows you to fit them in smaller desk setups.
One of the main complaints about vertical PC cases was the compromise in PC part compatibility. Fortunately, that is no longer a concern. These days, vertical cases can accept GPUs with 300mm+ length and a full-size tower cooler for the CPU. In this article, I’m showcasing some of the best vertical PC cases on the market that you can buy. Read on to learn more.

Best Vertical PC Cases You Can Buy in 2025
1) Deepcool CH170 / CH170 Plus / CH270

There are three versions of the Deepcool vertical case, but they differ in size. The Deepcool CH170 is the smallest version. It accepts only a mini-ITX motherboard, but the PSU can be either a full-size ATX or SFX. This case can also accept a tower-size CPU cooler and GPUs up to 305mm in length.
The Deepcool CH170 Plus is the larger version of the same case, which can also accept a micro-ATX motherboard and GPUs up to 328mm in length. The Deepcool CH270 is the largest version of this case, with support for even bigger GPUs. This version can accept a 360mm liquid cooler instead of the 240mm support found on the other two models.
Also, the Deepcool CH170 and CH270 both have a digital display at the bottom, which can show CPU, GPU, or PSU temps and other details. Unfortunately, the Deepcool CH170 Plus doesn’t have that feature, but it is more affordable. The only problem is that it is not available everywhere due to US sanctions.
2) Thermaltake Tower 600

The Thermaltake Tower 600 is a high-end vertical PC case that has almost everything you could ask for. You can install up to a 420mm/360mm AIO liquid cooler on one side and a 360mm AIO on the other. It can also accept up to a full-size ATX motherboard, ATX PSU, and tower coolers.
You can add GPUs with a length of up to 400mm if you remove the power cover. However, with the power cover installed, the GPU length is limited to 280mm. Its front I/O consists of multiple USB ports for better connectivity support. It looks like an absolute beauty in my opinion. However, it is a bit larger than the Deepcool cases mentioned above. You can also add a digital LCD display to this case, but you will have to buy it separately.
3) Cooler Master NCORE 100

The Cooler Master NCORE 100 is one of the leanest PC cases on the market. In fact, it doesn’t even resemble a PC case. You can keep it hooked to your living room TV, and people would think it’s some sort of speaker. It’s amazing how many PC components it can accept in its lean body.
Speaking of PC components, you can only add a low-profile CPU cooler with up to 50/70mm height, unfortunately. It can accept GPUs with a length of 336mm, but it can be adjusted to support up to 356mm if you use a 50mm CPU cooler. The case comes with two standard 120mm non-ARGB fans, which are pre-installed at the top and bottom.
4) SHINY SNAKE L300

The SHINY SNAKE L300 is another extremely lean vertical PC case with mesh panels all around to provide maximum airflow. It is also the most affordable vertical PC case on this list, making it a better choice for budget gamers. It supports only Mini-ITX motherboards with low-profile CPU coolers up to 60mm in height.
As for the GPU, it supports a length of up to 325mm, but the thickness must be 55mm or lower. Therefore, you cannot fit high-end GPUs. However, many mid-range and budget cards should fit in. The good news is that the riser cable is included if you purchase it from Amazon. The only major con is that the case is not as sturdy as others on this list.
5) HYTE Metal Revolt 3

The HYTE Metal Revolt 3 is similar to the SHINY SNAKE L300 but much sturdier and better looking. However, PC component compatibility is similar. It will only support a Mini-ITX motherboard and GPUs up to 300mm in length and 55mm in height. Therefore, high-end GPUs are out of the question. However, you can install a high-end CPU, as this case supports tower coolers with up to 140mm in height. The case has large ventilations for airflow and includes mesh filters to prevent dust from accumulating inside.
Conclusion
The Deepcool CH170, CH170 Plus, CH270, and Thermaltake Tower 600 are two of the best vertical PC cases. They offer the most in terms of component compatibility. The Cooler Master NCORE 100 is also a fantastic vertical case, as long as you don’t mind buying a mini-ITX motherboard and a low-profile CPU cooler. It can also accept high-end GPUs.
The SHINY SNAKE L300 and HYTE Metal Revolt 3 are also great vertical cases. However, their limited compatibility, especially in the GPU department, may make them less appealing to gamers with high-end GPUs.
