Discover everything new in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies, including the return of Dead Ops Arcade, Survival mode, and more.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies is bringing the biggest round-based survival experience ever to the franchise. Activision officially unveiled the next Call of Duty title at Gamescom ONL earlier this month. Right after the event concluded, the developers followed up with a blog post detailing numerous aspects of the game. This included several details about the upcoming game’s Zombies mode. Some of the highlights include the return of Survival mode, Dead Ops Arcade, and a few details about the launch map, among other updates.
So, without any further ado, let us take a closer look at all the launch content for the Zombies mode of the next Call of Duty installment.
Everything That Fans Need To Know About Black Ops 7 Zombies

Black Ops 7 Zombies picks up right after the events of Black Ops 6. The crew, consisting of Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mac Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo, is now trapped in the Dark Aether. But they aren’t alone. Familiar faces Edward Richtofen, Takeo Masaki, Nikolai Belinski, and Tank Dempsey also join the crew in their fight against the undead. According to the lore, both squads are unaware of each other, nor do they know how they made their way into the Dark Aether.
Players will be able to pick their favorite characters from these eight Operators and tackle the undead on a brand new map. Speaking of the map, let us discuss more about the launch map of BO7 Zombies.
Round-Based Zombies Map and Wonder Vehicle

At the time of writing, the name of this map hasn’t been confirmed. However, we do know that it is going to be the largest round-based Zombies map for Call of Duty. According to reports, the map is inspired by TranZit and will consist of multiple POIs. These POIs also happen to be Zombies maps from earlier releases.
In fact, the map is so big that travelling on foot alone isn’t possible, and players must use a vehicle for traversal. Unlike TranZit, there are no buses to take you from one location to the other. Instead, you are given a Wonder Vehicle, which is a large drivable truck. It allows you to easily make your way from one POI to another. Players can customize and upgrade this Wonder Vehicle to make it more powerful.
Survival Mode Returns
The iconic Survival mode from Black Ops 2 returns in BO7 Zombies. This mode strips away any Easter Eggs and quests for pure action. The only objective is survival. Players must survive as many rounds as possible against the undead. Third-party reports suggest that the mode will take place on a smaller map and is expected to be a POI from the main map.

Black Ops 7 Zombies will see the return of another classic mode called Dead Ops Arcade 4. Last seen in Black Ops Cold War, this classic top-down zombies experience has players fighting hordes of zombies in an arcade-style matchup. According to the official blog, a total of four players can join the mode at a time. It is jam-packed with Power-Ups, traps, and pure over-the-top chaos. Needless to say, it will also allow for XP progression.
That covers just about everything that you need to know about Black Ops 7 Zombies at the moment.
