The Brain Rot Ammo Mod is a mod that augments your bullets to deal Toxic damage. Once you have this mod ready and installed, your bullets then hold a chance to temporarily turn a Normal or Special Enemy into an ally.
This is one of the most powerful tools to use in the Zombies mode, especially as the hordes get overwhelming in midway through the run. You’ll be able to turn a zombie to your side. These brain-rotted zombies will also avoid slaying the last hostile zombie in the Round, to preserve the turn, allowing players to keep a zombie alive during investigations.
How To Unlock the Brain Rot Ammo Mod in Black Ops 7
You unlock the Brain Rot Ammo Mod in Black Ops 7 Zombies by reaching Player Level 51. After unlocking the ammo mod, you can then work towards the augments by getting kills and leveling up the Brain Rot Ammo Mod.
Major Augments:
- Plague: The charmed enemy has a chance to turn other enemies.
- Pheromone: The charmed enemy distracts nearby Normal and Special Enemies for a short time.
- Big Game: Brain Rot can charm Elite Enemies. Adjustment: This charms elite enemies more frequently.
- Caustic Fumes: Charmed enemies deal Toxic damage to nearby enemies.

Minor Augments:
- Extension: Brain Rot duration is increased.
- Haste: Brain Rot cooldown is reduced.
