Raw Fury Games, the (un)publishers of the recent hits Dome Keeper and Cassette Beasts, have finally announced the official date of release as 10th April, 2025. But how many platforms will it release on?
Blue Prince Launches on Three Platforms
The Blue Prince, according to the official website, is launching on three platforms, with release times varying according to your time zones on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. But the game might not be launching on all recent versions of the consoles.
The Steam release is for PC but fully supports PS and Xbox controllers as well. The game is currently playable in the English language, and no other language has been mentioned on the Steam page. Steam Family Sharing is enabled, so your family members will also be able to access this game if any member of your family purchases the game.
The official release for the PlayStation has only mentioned the PlayStation 5, the latest console. No reasons have been stated on why they are launching the game only on the PS5. However, future releases might be possible. The Blue Prince is also available on the PS Plus subscription, and you can access the game at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET/4 PM BST.
The Xbox Series X/S users will also be able to play the game on day one. The official Blue Prince page mentions that the game will also be available on the Game Pass. The official Xbox page for Blue Prince informs that the game is optimized for the Series X and Series S.
There is no news for Switch users as no official statement has been released yet.
