In this guide, we shall go over how to solve the complicated Darts Puzzle in the Billiards Room of Blue Prince.
Blue Prince is a roguelike that sees you play as Simon as he attempts to reach the coveted Room 46 and stake his claim as the heir of Mt Holly Estate. This vast estate is a labyrinth disguised as a manor. There are puzzles and secrets in each room, and you have to go past a good chunk of them if you wish to reach the fabled secret room.
Along your journey in this shifting manor, you will no doubt stumble across the Billiard room. This is a large room with a billiard table in the middle, darts on the wall, and a small bar to the right. While the Billiards table may attract your attention, the real secret here is the Dart Board. Interact with the Dart Board, and you will see that it is a puzzle of sorts. Solving this puzzle is a bit complex, made worse by the fact that the solution is different each time you visit the room.
While the solution may be different each time, the general idea behind solving the puzzle remains the same. You want to solve the puzzle, too, as doing so rewards you with keys, which help you access locked doors and areas. These keys include a silver key, a Secret Garden Key, and an electronic keycard.

When you approach the Dart Board, you will see the numbers marked with colors. Each color represents an arithmetic operation. Blue means you have to add, yellow means to subtract, pink to multiply, and purple to divide. For instance, if you see the numbers 6 and 1 marked blue, you have to add 6 and 1 and then press the corresponding number, i.e., 7.
The order of operations is Blue>Yellow>Pink>Purple. For instance, if 18 is highlighted blue and 10 is yellow, you start with the blue number and then do the corresponding Yellow operation. This means you do 18-10 to get 8.
If 20 is blue, 10 is yellow, 3 is pink, and 2 is purple, you will solve it this way:
- 20 – 10 = 10, this 10 will then carry over to the next operation.
- 10 X 3 = 30, which will carry over to the next operation.
- 30/2= 15, which is your answer.
