In Blue Prince, you get three random options whenever you want to draft a room. However, these options are often not the kind of rooms that you want, which can be frustrating. That’s why ivory dice play an important role in the game. These dice can help you redraw the three room options, essentially letting you get fresh choices if you’re unhappy with the options presented to you. Since they are a game changer, you won’t find an ivory dice too frequently.
However, there are ways to maximize how many you get each day through different means. Here, we’ll explain how you can get more ivory dice and redraws in Blue Prince.
How Can You Get More Ivory Dice and Redraws in Blue Prince?
The following are some ways to increase the amount of ivory dice you get:
- Use an upgrade disk to set the Geist Bedroom perk. This will ensure that every Guest Bedroom you draft will have +2 ivory dice inside. You can increase how many dice you get further by drafting the Tomb as an Outer Room. Combined with the perk, this should give you four additional ivory dice apart from the two you were already getting.
- Use an upgrade disk on the Boudoir. This will give you a perk that lets you collect +2 ivory dice from inside the room.
- Running experiments at the Laboratory is also a great way to unlock more dice. You can choose a trigger that will cause you to get +2 ivory dice every time that trigger is met. For instance, if the trigger is set to digging up dirt mounds, you’ll get +2 dice every time you use the shovel to dig up any area.
- Unlocking the Trading Post will also allow you to exchange certain items you discover for ivory dice. You can get anywhere between one and four ivory dice based on which item you exchange here.

Besides using ivory dice, there are other ways to redraw floor plans. For instance, you can build a Study in your run, which allows you to redraw plans using your gems. You can redraw up to 8 times using gems in that particular run. Other options include using the Red Paper Crown and collecting 50 stars in the Observatory. However, these methods can take several days to complete.
