The first-person puzzle game has tremendously soared in popularity since its release. The game presents you with seemingly endless discoveries in the form of 45 rooms, which shuffle positions every morning.
How did you end up in such a unique position? This house has been left to you by an eccentric relative. There is a 46th hidden room for you to find, and if you can find the room, the house is yours.
Subsequently, every morning, you enter the main entrance lobby of the house, where three doors await you.

Steps To Get to the Basement
Activate the Foundation Elevator in Blue Prince
To access the Basement, you need to activate the elevator at the Foundation first.
Here’s where things get a little complex—you must draft and build the Foundation room first. Luckily, the Foundation room does not change position every night as mentioned earlier for other rooms. However, the chances of the Foundation room appearing on the Draft Options menu are totally random.
Once you have built the Foundation room, you need to build another room to its right. Make sure to have a doorway in the new room on the right wall.

Unlock the Antechamber
To access the Basement Key, you need to access the Antechamber. This chamber can be accessed through three doors that can be opened using three levers. These levers are located in three distinct locations—the Greenhouse, the Secret Garden, and the Great Hall. In all three locations, the levers are concealed (as expected from a puzzle-based game).

The Foundation Underground
The elevator will take you to the Foundation Underground. Once there, be sure to activate the elevator panel with your card to turn the three red LEDs to green.
At last, you can walk up to the door and use your key to access the desired Basement.
Other Ways To Access the Basement in Blue Prince
The Basement can also be accessed through the Pump Room by draining the Fountain to reveal a tunnel.
Routes like Cliffside, Tomb, or Blue Flame require the usage of special tools or setups.
