However, you cannot light them right away by simply walking up and interacting with them. Instead, you need specific items to do so. What Are the Tools Required To Light Candles and Torches in Blue Prince?
As mentioned before, you need specific tools to light the candles and torches you find in the manor — Burning Glass and Torch. Both items can be used to light candles and ignite fuses. Here is how to obtain both of them:
- You can craft a Burning Glass with a Magnifying Glass and a Metal Detector at the Workshop Room.
- A Torch can be purchased from the Armory for 8 gold.
However, obtaining these items on every run is not guaranteed, as Blue Prince features a roguelike mechanic that shifts the complete layout on each day. If you get a chance to craft or buy these items, make it a priority, as you might need them anytime on your run.
How To Light Candles and Torches in Blue Prince
Once you have acquired either the Burning Glass or the Torch, you will be able to light the candles and torches throughout Mt. Holly. You can use them at different locations like the Chapel, Freezer, Underground Roundtable, or Tunnel. If you find a place that has a lot of candles or torches, approach them. Hit the interaction prompt once it appears on the screen.
