Along your journey to find the hidden room, you will come across several blocked paths and will need your wits to find a way around them. One such blockade comes in the Underground section of Blue Prince in the form of an ominous red door.
The Underground red door stands alone at the end of the Underpass hallway. There’s no switch and very few clues to go on except for a small fusebox right next to the door. This box is powered off, and there’s no way to open it. With nothing to go on in your immediate vicinity, you may be tempted to give up on exploring what’s behind the door, but don’t worry, as we’re here to help. As stated earlier, the Underground red door has no clues nearby except for the powerbox right next to it. While this may not seem like much, the powerbox hint is really all you need to open the door. The bottom right corner of the powerbox has an LED display that is turned off. This means you can run power through this box to turn the light on. Since the Boiler Room is the only place to meddle with electricity, that’s where you need to go.
Draft the Boiler Room and make your inside. Here, you will see three steam tanks and several pipes. Turn on the three steam tanks, two of which are on the floor below. Head to the first steam tank (the one below without the shutter) and follow the pipe connected to it.
There will be a misaligned red tube along this path. Align this tube and continue forward to the next T-shaped tube. Align this second tube in a way that connects it to the red fusebox to your right. This red fusebox connects to the one you saw next to the Underground red door. Once this box is on, you can return to the underground red door to find it open.
