Before anything else, you first need to unlock the necessary equipment to remove the crates. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
- Complete the Laboratory Puzzle and gain a perk that grants permanent access to terminals remotely.
- Find and collect three microchips and insert them into the sundial to get the download packet that expands experimental options.
- Access any terminal and input the passcode.
- Select Data Transfers to begin clearing the crates.
Keep in mind that completing this task will allow you to permanently access this perk throughout your playthrough. Once you are done, you need to figure out the best experiments to remove the tunnel crates in Blue Prince.

Best Experiment Combo To Remove Tunnel Crates
Follow these step-by-step procedures to completely remove the crates:
- Bypass or Unlock Security Doors – Head to the security room and flip the security level to High and set Offline Mode to Unlocked. There should be eight doors that spawn across the manor. If you disabled the VAC Control via the Utility Closet, then it’s basically a stroll. Each one you unlock equals one less crate you’ll have to deal with.
- Find Trash While Digging – If your room draft gave you the Root Cellar, you can grab a shovel and start digging. Every piece of useless junk you pull out clears a bit of the tunnel crates.
- Viewing Your Map and Losing Steps – Another experiment you can do is to view your map and sacrifice 10 steps. Each time this happens, it removes a tunnel crate in Blue Prince. If you’ve got a buff from the Sauna or Apple Orchard, you’ll start with more steps than usual. That means you can spam your map a few times early, burn through crates, and still have enough leeway to finish the run.
