The Blue Prince Observatory Telescope is one of the most useful tools, offering unique effects based on the number of stars you have collected.
Although Blue Prince features rogue-like mechanics that reset your progression every day, it also includes several permanent upgrades. The Observatory is perhaps the earliest permanent upgrade you can access in the mystery puzzle-solving game. Every time you draft an Observatory on the estate, you earn a star that adds to your progress.
Based on the number of stars, you can view different constellations using the Telescope, Each constellation offers unique benefits. However, when you enter an Observatory, you notice that the Telescope is positioned awkwardly. So, how do you set the Observatory Telescope properly, and how to use it in Blue Prince, let’s dive in.

How To Use the Observatory Telescope in Blue Prince
To access a Telescope at the Observatory, you must first draft an Observatory during the drafting view, which costs one gem. Upon drafting, you need to realign and reposition the Telescope so it faces the sky through the dome opening.
You can adjust the position of the Telescope by spinning the two wheels, one attached to the Telescope and the other at the end of the staircase. The wheel attached to the Telescope controls its horizontal movement, while the one at the upstairs controls its vertical movement.
Rotate both wheels properly until the Telescope is positioned towards the sky. Upon positioning correctly, an eye icon will appear on the Telescope. Press the interaction button to view the constellations using the Telescope. While observing the constellations, press the interaction button again to gain the effects.

You will receive a star each time you draft an Observatory. Based on the number of stars, you will observe different constellations. The following table provides the complete list of all the constellations and their effects. You can also find this information in the Fixed Stars book at the Observatory.
