This guide explains how you can complete the Secret Tunnel Puzzle in Blue Prince and the reward you get from it.
Secrets are lurking around every corner in the Mount Holly Estate in Blue Prince. And we don’t just mean within the manor itself but also on its grounds. For instance, there’s a tunnel just outside the manor that holds a lot of mysteries, including access to a particular puzzle that you’d want to solve.
However, reaching the puzzle and then solving it can both be tricky for many players. In this guide, we’ll explain how you can access the secret tunnel puzzle in Blue Prince. Then, we’ll help you solve it.
How To Find the Secret Tunnel Puzzle in Blue Prince?
The tunnel is a location or room that you can draft. However, for that, you’ll first need to discover the build plans for it. To get these, simply go outside from the Entrance Hall. Keep moving forward through the pebbled pathway and down the white staircase. At the base of the stairs, take a sharp right, and you’ll find a dark passageway blocked off by a number of crates. Go inside this passageway with a Burning Glass in your inventory. There, you’ll find two torches that you can light using the Burning Glass. Lighting even one of them allows you to pick up the secret tunnel floor plan at the end of this passage.
After that, you just have to draft the secret tunnel into one of the perimeter blocks of the mansion. Enter the drafted area, and at the very end of the tunnel, you’ll find the puzzle box. If you’ve attempted the Trading Outpost puzzle, this puzzle box should seem familiar to that one. However, in this one, you’ll need to move the orange tiles into all four corner squares.

How To Solve the Secret Tunnel Puzzle?
Before you can solve the puzzle, you’ll need to know how it functions.
- Press the purple tiles to rotate the other purple tiles surrounding it.
- Clicking the orange tile only has a function if it is between two purple tiles. In such cases, the orange tile will turn purple.
- Press the black tile to move that entire row to the right. The tiles already in the right columns will loop back to the left column.
Now, here are the steps you should follow to solve the puzzle.
- Step 1: Click the black tile to move the top row to the right. This brings the purple tile to the left.
- Step 2: Next, hit the left middle square and transform it into a purple tile.
- Step 3: Once again move the top row to the right by clicking the black tile.
- Step 4: Click the tile on the top left corner to make it purple.
- Step 5: Click on the purple tile that’s on the middle left.
- Step 6: Press on the purple tile on the top middle.
- Step 7: Click on the top right corner tile, which should be purple.
- Step 8: Next, press the middle right purple tile.
- Step 9: Click the purple tile on the central left-hand side.
- Step 10: Click on the purple tile on the bottom right corner.
- Step 11: Click the purple tile on the middle bottom.
- Step 12: Press the middle purple tile two times.
- Step 13: Press the top left purple tile two times.
- Step 14: Click on the top middle purple tile.
- Step 15: Press the purple tile on the top right two times.
- Step 16: Click the purple middle right tile two times.
- Step 17: Click the middle left purple tile three times.
- Step 18: Click the purple middle-right tile four times.
- Step 19: Click on the heart-shaped buttons on all four corners to open the puzzle box.

Rewards for Completing the Secret Tunnel Puzzle in Blue Prince
Completing the puzzle box will reward you with an Allowance Token. With this one, you’ll get a permanent bonus that lets you start each day with +2 gold coins already in your possession. You will need to call it a day and proceed to the next day to start getting this allowance.
