Adept’s Trial is a unique event in Blue Protocol Star Resonance with roguelike gameplay featuring 15 levels, along with its own set of abilities and buffs to purchase. Completing the trial regularly with your party will earn you Adept’s Badges, Silver Star Badges, Alloy Shards, and Level 40 Epic Gear.

How To Start Adept’s Trial in Blue Protocol Star Resonance?

To begin Adept’s Trial, you must be at Adventurer Level 30. Speak with Hughie, the Training Guide situated in front of the Arena Town building. It is recommended that you form or join a party before you talk to Hughie, as the entire party will start the event together.

Don’t worry about having a full party, though, as the enemies scale with the number of players, which doesn’t necessarily give larger parties an advantage. The event disables the Holy Trinity 25% damage for party composition, so you can start the event without worrying about class roles.

When the Adept’s Trial begins, you and your party are transported to the Arena. The trial has a total of 15 rounds you must beat. Each round has a time limit of 1 minute, with enemies spawning in waves. Rounds 5, 10, and 15 are boss fight rounds. You must beat the boss within the 1-minute time limit or the trial will fail.

Arena EXP

Defeating enemies and bosses during the rounds grants you Arena EXP. Gathering Arena EXP increases your Training Level from 1 to a maximum of 27. Each level up awards you with +100 ATK/MATK, +4000 Max HP, and +5 Training Coins. All of the Arena EXP, Training Level, and Training Coins earned during Adept’s Trial are lost once the current run ends.

Skill and Attribute Upgrades

Training Coins can be spent on powerful Skill and Attribute purchases during the preparation period between rounds of the Adept’s Trial. After each round, you and your party are transported to a room with blue and orange circles with a flaming orb at the center.

The blue circles are additional skills, while the orange circles are attribute upgrades. Run over to a circle to view its upgrade details. Each skill or attribute upgrade costs 5 Training Coins. Red circles represent curses, which provide powerful upgrades at the cost of 5 Training Coins but with a drawback.

You can speak with the NPC standing in the blue circle to upgrade the additional skills for 5 Training Coins. Talk to the NPC in the red circle to upgrade Advanced Attributes for 2 Training Coins up to a maximum of 15 times. All upgrades are lost once the current Adept’s Trial run ends.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance: Adept’s Trial Tips and Tricks

  • Purchase the Gravitational Black Hole skill to group up enemies and kill them quickly with AoE damage. Spam the ability on cooldown to quickly kill enemies and farm Arena EXP during rounds. At least two players in the party should purchase Gravitational Black Hole.
  • Buy the Spinning Blade skill to launch a slow-moving projectile that deals heavy AoE damage to decimate grouped-up enemies. This skill synergizes extremely well with Gravitational Black Hole.
  • When it comes to attribute upgrades, focusing on Luck upgrades such as Stormclouds Gather will increase your chance of landing a Lucky Strike and dealing high burst damage to enemies.
  • Crit attribute upgrades can be paired with Godslaying Moment Curse and Wrath of the Thunder God for incredible Critical Damage.
  • Buy out the Runic Alloy Shards from the Event Store using Adept’s Badges to craft Raid Gear, releasing on October 27th as part of the event.
