After you unlock Alchemy from the Life Skill menu, you can visit Maurice, the Alchemy Master, to receive a side quest ‘About Alchemy’ and learn everything you need to know about it. It is through him that you will also receive access to ‘Alchemy Exchange’. Over here, you can purchase various materials using Luno (Bound) tokens, useful for Alchemy. There are two tabs under Alchemy, namely Practice and Experiment. Let us look at the purpose of each of these.

Practice

This is the main menu under Alchemy, where you can craft all your potions. After choosing the preferred potion, you will find the description of what it does and the ingredients it requires to be prepared. Apart from materials you source using Botany or Gemology, you may also need ‘Elemental Crystal Shards’ for some potions. After selecting the number of items you wish to craft, you can click on the ‘Start Alchemy’ button to begin the process.

Experiment

The Experiment tab, on the other hand, is useful when it comes to unlocking new recipes. You can view the different items you possess and are needed for consumption by the experiment. Now, click on the question mark on the right side of your screen to view a list of recipes your items can be used for making. You will also get an idea of how much ‘Focus’ you will need to prepare it, as well as the number of experiments you can attempt each day.
