Plants come in three types, namely Herbs, Fruits, and Mushrooms. Focus is a life skill you can use to locate and gather a specific item you need. But if you do not use focus for this task, you will receive only untradeable items, such as Tender Plant Stems or Dyes, which have fewer functional uses. To locate plants with focus, follow these simple steps.

  1. Press the prompted button to access the ‘Life Skill’ menu.
  2. Now select ‘Botany’ and choose your preferred plant from the list.
  3. You can see the amount of ‘Focus’ the plant will need, which may vary depending on the level and rarity.
  4. Click on the ‘Focus’ button to start tracking. You can open your in-game map to track the location of the plant you select.

When you gather any of the items using Focus, the rewards are tradeable. While flowers are mostly gathered for crafting healing aromatics, fruits and mushrooms can be used for crafting food items. Crafting certain items requires you to have a certain number of plants. You can refer to the table below for the precise amounts.
