Learn how to clear the Goblin Lair in Blue Protocol Star Resonance with our dungeon routes, Void Monster trick, and Goblin King boss guide.
The Goblin Lair is one of the first dungeons with low entry requirements that you will encounter in Blue Protocol Star Resonance. However, that does not mean it’s easy to beat it consistently, especially when playing at Hard or Master difficulty. To access the Goblin Lair, you’ll need to visit the Unit X research facility and use the second door on the left.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance: Goblin Lair Walkthrough
- There are four main rooms in the Goblin Lair dungeon that you’ll need to fight through before reaching the Goblin King. Each main room is connected to a side room that is a dead end.
- Unlocking the boss fight requires accumulating points by defeating enemies in each room.
- You won’t manage to collect enough points through the main four rooms leading to the boss room and will need to clear at least three of the side rooms. Each listed side room is connected to one main room mentioned in brackets next to them:
- Triangle Room (1st)
- Ogre Room (2nd)
- Extra Room (3rd)
- Spider Room (4th)
Void Monsters provide more points upon being defeated but also deal more damage. At higher difficulties, you can take the left path at the far end of the first room to reach the Triangle Room. Interact with the triangular structure to convert all nearby enemies into Void Monsters.
Unless you are playing at high Master difficulty, you may want to lure enemies from the first room into the Triangle Room, then trigger the triangle to turn them all into Void Monsters. Killing all the Void enemies after doing so will give you enough points to entirely avoid the Spider Room, which can consume the most time to clear.

Goblin King Boss Fight Guide
- When the boss launches single-target attacks, dash out of the small red zone that appears before the attack.
- When Shield Goblins appear, the Goblin King becomes invulnerable to all damage. Defeat the two goblins with the blue shield symbols over their heads to pick up their shields.
- The Goblin King will launch a slow-moving Thunderball towards a player with a shield. The player with the shield should angle it to deflect past the boss without hitting it. The second player with the shield should stand behind the boss and deflect the Thunderball into the boss’ unprotected back.
- In Normal and Hard modes, a single player can Phantom Dash to travel past the deflected Thunderball and deflect it again into the boss’ back.

The rewards for completing Goblin Lair vary according to difficulty. To unlock more difficulties, you need to reach a higher Ability Score.
