Blue Protocol Star Resonance: Black Flowers Farming Guide
Black Flowers in Blue Protocol Star Resonance aren’t exactly black in color, but closer to a shade of gray. To start farming Black Flowers, first upgrade your Homestead to Level 2 and then speak with Delphine to purchase Tulip seeds. You can also use rarer flower seeds if you are specifically looking to create their Black Flowers.
Getting the First Black Flower

To get the first Black Flower in the garden, you need to grow a purple rarity flower and use it to cross-pollinate other flowers growing adjacent to it. These cross-pollinated plants have a chance to grow into Black Flowers. Here is the step-by-step process to get your first Black Flower in Blue Protocol Star Resonance:
- Plant the Tulip flowers in a “+” formation, with one seeded square plot at the center and four surrounding it on each side.
- Use water and fertilizer on the middle flower to make it grow faster.
- If you get green rarity flowers, destroy their seeds by heading to the Editing menu (H key) and recycling the plot the seeds are planted on. Replant the plot with fresh seeds.
- Use the “J” key to bring up the advanced chat to check the rarity of flowers you harvested.
- If you get purple rarity flowers, harvest them and replant their seed in a plot and move it away from the other flowers. Once grown, shift the plot to the center of the “+” formation and plant new seeds around it.
- The purple rarity flower plant cross-pollinates all the flowers growing around it, maximizing the chance of growing a purple rarity flower.
- Create two “+” formations of flower plots with purple flowers at their center until you grow a Black Flower.

Replanting and Harvesting Black Flowers
Once a Black Flower grows in your garden, use it to cross-pollinate your plot formation and grow more Black Flowers.
- When you get a Black Flower, do not harvest it.
- Move the Black Flower plot to the center of the “+” formation and grow new flowers in the plots surrounding it.
- Once you have two Black Flowers at the center of both plot formations, harvest any new Black Flowers that grow around them through cross-pollination.
- After harvesting 10 Black Flowers, you will unlock the Floral Breeze achievement.
