Track and locate the different ores in Blue Protocol Star Resonance using the Mineralogy Life Skill to use for upgrading other items.
Mineralogy is one of the nine Life Skills you can learn in Blue Protocol Star Resonance. Life Skills are an essential part of character progression, unlocking various features in the process. With the Mineralogy skill, you can unlock a variety of ores, which you can later process into different materials. The materials you extract can then be used by other Life Skills, such as Smelting, for creating enhanced materials, weapons, etc.
In this article, we will explore the uses of the Mineralogy Life Skill in Blue Protocol Star Resonance.
Mineralogy Overview in Blue Protocol Star Resonance
After you unlock Mineralogy from the Life Skill menu, you can visit Aile, the Mineralogy Instructor. She provides a quick tutorial on how to access the menu and use this Life Skill.
There are four different types of ores: Baru, Azte, Luna, and Stoke Rich Ore. Baru, Azte, and Luna are primarily used for Smelting processes, helping to create items useful for gear progression. Mining ores will give you a certain type and quantity of ores. Here are the steps to use the Mineralogy Life Skill:
- Once ready, click ‘Escape’ to open the player menu.
- From here, click on the ‘Life Skill’ button. This will open a pop-up window for Mineralogy.
- To the left, you will see a list of all the available items you can track.
- Select the one you wish to locate. On the right, you will see the amount of focus that will be consumed for the action.
- Click the prompted button, exit the menu, and open your map. From here, you can track the location of the ore you selected.
Mineralogy Mastery
If you upgrade the level of Mastery, you will be able to obtain additional quantities by spending ‘Life Skill Mastery Tokens’. The quality of the ores you extract ranges from normal to Rich to Pure ores.
