Amon Skill Tree in Borderlands 4
Amon has three Action Skills to choose from, each one correlating to a skill tree.
- Onslaught: Calamity Skill Tree
- Activating Onslaught overloads the off-hand Forgefist for a Rocket Punch in melee. It also increases shield regeneration and applies fire damage to all weapons.
- Scourge: Vengeance Skill Tree
- Scourge grants Amon a shield in his off-hand to absorb frontal damage and fill up the Vengeance meter. Vengeance can be used to launch Forgewaves, which deal Cryo damage in a straight line.
- Crucible: Cybernetics Skill Tree
- Equipping Crucible arms Amon with two throwing axes. One deals fire damage, and the other cryo damage.

Amon Calamity (Red) Skill Tree
The Calamity skill tree allows you to get up close and personal with enemies using dashes, dealing incendiary damage, and throwing Rocket Punches. Focus on investing in Branch 2 to power up your Action Skill and lean into the melee combat playstyle with tons of status effects and shield restoration.

Amon Vengeance (Blue) Skill Tree

The Vengeance skill tree focuses on defense with a shield in Amon’s off-hand to absorb damage and charge the Vengeance meter. Investing further into the tree grants a mix of elemental damage, particularly Cryo, and a diverse range of damaging and crowd control abilities. Key Skill Nodes That Define Amon’s Playstyle

Amon is complex to build as each of his skill trees stretches his playstyle in a different direction. Within the Calamity tree, the Pyroclast augment should be unlocked as soon as possible to increase his survivability and damage output, especially in solo play. At tier 4, Force of Nature is a powerful pick, causing enemies to detonate by building up a Prime with Gun Damage.
If you’re looking to max out Amon’s DPS, the Cybernetics skill tree is the way to go. The first major power jump is facilitated by the Endless War Augment. At tier 4, you can unlock Searing Cold, which freezes enemies hit with the Frost Axe. While leveling up, be sure to invest in Bolt Action for 4 seconds of Shock Damage after every reload. Past level 11, spec into Executioner increasing Critical Hit Damage by 3% per point and doubling it with Melee damage. Crucible hits count as melee damage and activate the doubling effect.
