Learn about Bramblesong’s exact location, mine route, and Legendary loot in this detailed Borderlands 4 boss farming guide.

Bramblesong is a giant Kratch and one of the seven Auger Mine bosses in Borderlands 4. It flies around the battlefield, dodging the player’s attacks while harrying them with AoE abilities and airborne minions. Bramblesong is a relatively easy boss to farm, and defeating it can give you one of the three intriguing Legendary items in its drop pool.
Borderlands 4: Bramblesong Location

Bramblesong is located at the end of the Bittervein Abandoned Auger Mine, in central Stoneblood Forest, north of Substation Canonary in the Terminus Range region. To unlock Auger Mines and the Bramblesong boss, you must complete the Shadow of the Mountain main story mission.
Bittervein Mine Guide
After entering the Bittervein Mine, slide or crouch through the gap on the lower left side of the wall blocking the way ahead. You’ll enter a large cavern with abandoned mining equipment and green creature nests. Head straight and climb the ladder on the right.
Once at the top, turn around and use your grappling hook on the point above to reach the other side. Travel through the tunnel with pink lights and find a small crevice on the left to crouch through, past the small tin structure.
After clearing the hidden passage, use the grappling hook on the suspended platform above and run through the tunnel. In the next cavern, stick to the left path and head through another tunnel with pink lights.

In the next area with boxes suspended over a chasm, use your grappling hook on the left side of the first box to pull it. Jump onto the box and repeat the process on the next one. Grapple the right side of the third box, which is hidden to the left. Follow the path ahead until you come to an area with two vending machines. The Bramblesong boss waits in the arena ahead.
How To Beat Bramblesong Boss in Borderlands 4
- The boss has a large hitbox, but wait until it is stationary to launch powerful attacks that might otherwise miss.
- When Bramblesong charges an attack around its tail, it will launch a strafing run toward you, dealing AoE damage in its wake. Dash to the side to avoid it.
- If the boss is directly above you, it will slam its tail down, causing a detonation underneath.
- If you are downed, shoot the Kratch flying around to gain a Second Wind.
- When Bramblesong is about to die, lure it away from the pit on the far end of the arena, as the loot can drop into it.
Bramblesong Legendary Drops and Rewards
Bramblesong has the potential to drop three interesting Legendary items. After beating the boss once, you can farm it using Moxxi’s Big Encore machine at the arena’s entrance. Each time you repeat the boss fight, don’t forget to loot the red chest in the room to the right, as it respawns too.
