Learn how to obtain the Waterfall Legendary grenade in Borderlands 4, its stats, boss location, and best skill synergies.
The Waterfall is among the best Legendary grenades in Borderlands 4 as it creates a cascading damaging effect upon impact. The grenade can have dramatically different characteristics depending on the variation you receive, but all deal additional damage after the initial impact. Waterfall can be farmed relatively early in Borderlands 4, making it a reliable part of your loadout from the start.
Borderlands 4: Waterfall Location
The best way to quickly obtain the Waterfall Legendary grenade is to farm the Bio-Bulkhead boss. You can find Bio-Bulkhead just at the Synthetic Nave in Dissected Plateau, Fadefields. The boss becomes available for farming once you have completed the 4th main story mission, One Fell Swoop. During the boss fight, use the grappling hook on the Locust station and lob the canister at Bio-Bulkhead to quickly melt through its Armor health bar.
After defeating Bio-Bulkhead, use Moxxi’s Big Encore station at the boss arena’s entrance to repeat the fight until you receive Waterfall. Using UVH (Ultimate Vault Hunter) mode increases the odds of Legendary drops, but it should only be used if you can farm the boss quickly at that difficulty level.

Waterfall deals heavy damage on its initial impact by causing additional explosions within its blast radius. This impact damage is complemented by the enhancements your Waterfall grenade features.
Maglock Augment and Artillery Payload cause the grenade to home in on nearby enemies while shooting bullets in all directions. MIRV Payload and Rubberized Augment create a powerful variation of the Waterfall. MIRV Payload spawns four MIRV Grenades on impact, which bounce away in all directions because of Rubberized Augment.

Rafa Synergies
Rafa can create some of the best synergies by speccing into the right skills with Waterfall. While using Arc Knives, Booming Business spawns a free grenade on critical hits every twelve seconds, while Hemolitions allows Rafa to throw grenades at 10% of current health cost.
For Apophis Lance, Abajo boosts Action Skill cooldown rate with every grenade thrown. The Gibistruct Module Augment spawns a free grenade after killing enemies with the Apophis Lance.
