Learn how to enter the Ironwall Resolve Order bunker in Borderlands 4, solve puzzles, and beat Directive-O to earn Legendary assault rifles.
The Ironwall Resolve Order bunker is located in the Praetor’s Lecture area of Dominion City’s Terminus District. Start from the Frantic Scrawl fast travel station and head southeast across the bridge to reach the bunker. Ironwall Resolve’s entrance is blocked by a bio-armored door. To destroy this barrier, you need to throw a corrosive canister at it.
How To Enter the Ironwall Resolve Order Bunker in Borderlands 4
Complete the ‘One Gassy Issue’ side mission to gain access to corrosive canisters across the city and unlock the Ironwall Resolve Order bunker. ‘One Gassy Issue’ is a mission that takes place in the Fades District of Dominion City, and you need to complete the ‘Means of Ascent’ main mission before unlocking it.
Pick up the canister from the tube in the left (east) corner of the area, where garbage is piled up next to the “Club.” Sprint and throw the canister at the bio-armored door blocking Ironwall Resolve’s entrance. The canister will explode in about fifteen seconds if you don’t throw it. The canister’s corrosive explosion will dissolve the bio-armored door, permitting entry into the bunker.
Borderlands 4: Ironwall Resolve Order Bunker Walkthrough
After entering the bunker, shoot the power core on the left side to remove the energy barrier ahead. Then, head down the corridor to the right and follow it until you reach a ladder. Climb up, turn around, and shoot the power core. Head back and take the left corridor.
Use your grappling hook on the platform to the left, jump onto the side wall, and across to the platform on the north side of the room. Run through the open door on the left and shoot the power core inside before heading back. Walk through the now-open central passageway to face the bunker’s boss.
Directive-O Boss Fight
- Directive-O has two health bars: Shield and Armor.
- It deploys a directional shield that breaks after absorbing some damage.
- It can lob Corrosive grenades and launch Corrosive homing missiles.
- Although Directive-O is quite tanky, it does not dish out a lot of damage. Kill most of the mobs in the arena to reduce the enemy’s overall damage output and focus on the boss.
- Directive-O’s weak spot is its head; shoot it to land critical hits.
Ironwall Resolve Order Bunker Legendary Loot
After defeating Directive-O in Ironwall Resolve, you have the chance to obtain one of three Legendary Assault Rifles. If you don’t get the Legendary you want, use Moxxi’s Big Encore at the boss arena’s entrance to repeat the fight and farm the boss.
