Wondering about how to complete the Lost Shipment quest in Brighter Shores without any difficulty? Here’s a quick guide for you.
One of the quests you will complete in Brighter Shores is Lost Shipment. The MMORPG offers regular adventures for choosing professions like the Guard. If you have leveled up enough, take on a high-level quest like this.
In Hopeport, start the mission by heading far west of the Town Square. Keep moving past Brannof Boulevard, and Brannof’s Dining Room will appear. Talk to Cohen here, marked with a quest icon above his head. Initiate the dialogue with him, and he’ll give you further instructions.
Some pre-requisites for this mission are:
- Fisherman level 25+
- Guard level 20+
- Silver 15+
- Remove all armor otherwise some NPCs might not talk to you
Once you’re all set and accept Cohen’s mission, get ready for the next steps in the quest.
Finding the Lost Shipment in the Game
Talk to all NPCs first before doing anything productive in the game. Once the conversation with Cohen is finished, head to the Hooked Hand, a little southwest of the Town Hall. Talk to the NPC Nelson here. Make sure you have removed your armor before entering. Then, select the following dialogues whenever they appear:
- “Who is this person who can supply me?”
- “The fish stall sells weapons? That sounds unusual.
- Thanks for the info. I’ll go fishing.
Now, head to the ship called Vincible. Chat with Captain Shirker and ask him to have a meal with you right away. You will then see him at the Delectable Dab. When you sit down, select the following dialogues:
- “How’s your meal?”
- “I heard you lost a shipment for Cohen the steward.”
- “You met an impostor? That’s terrible. You must be so annoyed.”
- “Maybe I could track down that impostor for you. What did he look like?”
Getting a New Look
Once you’re done here, head to the Town Square and talk to the man in the blue waistcoat. He will be standing peacefully in a corner when you approach him. Use the following dialogues:
- “You’re the one who stole the weapon shipment.”
- “Could I buy any of these freely given weapons?”
- “What is the plan?”
End this conversation and head straight for the Hairdresser. Head east from the Town Square and enter the second building that appears. Choose to get a monobrow, and it will cost you a few Silver. Now, head all the way west to the Overgrown Pond and catch a Flounder using your spear.
The Endgame
Now, teleport back to Hopeport, head to Captain Degreene’s Office, and add Quill, Ink, and Paper to your inventory. Combine them and select the option, “An order for Carthian plumbatae.” Open the quest log and use the order note on the Flounder fish you just caught. Use this Flounder on the Fishmonger located south of Eel Street.
Lurk behind the bush on the side of the Fishmonger stall and wait for a small dialogue cutscene. Follow the stranger all the way to Monob Row. Equip your armor again (except your helmet) after the small cutscene where the stranger enters the warehouse.
Head to the door and select “I am Monobrow Sam.” The door will open. Equip your helmet before going in, as you will now have to fight. When ready, talk and select the option, “Let’s see these weapons.” After this, say, “Now I’m taking them for myself.”
Defeat both strangers here, and a small cutscene will play out. Collect the rewards for completion:
- Rare Carthian Plumbatae
- 15,600 Fisherman XP
- 17,200 Guard XP
