The much-anticipated Call of Duty Black Ops 6 x Warzone Season 2 launch is just around the corner. Arriving on January 28, 2025, the new season brings many exciting updates. While the launch of the season introduces four new weapons, including the TR2 Marksman Rifle, some melee-focused weapons are planned for a mid-season update.

What’s Special About the TR2 Marksman Rifle in Black Ops 6 and Warzone?
The TR2 is a semi-auto Marksman Rifle with a 20-mag capacity. It supports the attachments—Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, and Fire Mods. The Marksman Rifle is tailored for sharpshooters who love to perform quick takedowns.
It is ideal for close-quarters and mid-range battles, capable of eliminating unarmored enemies in 3-4 shots within a range of 100 meters. The Marksman Rifle has a perfect balance between mobility, precision, and power. Its rapid re-centering feature remains a standout, as it lets players deliver quick follow-up shots, leaving no room for the target to escape from their sight.

How To Obtain TR2 Marksman Rifle in Black Ops 6 and Warzone?
Season 2 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone introduces the brand-new TR2 Marksman Rifle along with three other weapons—Cypher 091 Assault Rifle, PPSh-41 SMG, and Feng 82 LMG. However, the TR2 Marksman Rifle takes the spotlight among them due to its accessibility and performance. Moreover, the TR2 is the fifth marksman rifle in Black Ops 6, following SWAT 5.56, Tsarkov 7.62, AEK-973, and DM-10.
Before getting hands-on with the TR2, you need to unlock the weapon by participating in the Shadow Hunt Event, which runs from February 13, 2025, to February 20, 2025. The event offers seven rewards, including the Binary Trigger Fire Mod for the Tanto .22 SMG and the coveted TR2 Marksman Rifle.
