The Toxic Metal animated camo in Black Ops 6 and Warzone is the Mastery Reward in the Echoes of the Dead event. This is a universal camo and it is compatible with all Black Ops 6 weapons (yes, even in Warzone!). Since it is an event reward, it’s completely free to unlock. All that players must do is complete a series of challenges in the games. Once done, the camo will be unlocked.
So, without any further ado, let’s take a closer look at how you can grab the Toxic Metal animated camo for free in the latest Call of Duty games.
How To Unlock Toxic Metal Animated Camo in Black Ops 6 and Warzone
To unlock the Toxic Metal animated camo in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, you must claim all seven rewards in the Echoes of the Dead event. For those unaware, the latest limited-time event in the Call of Duty games features seven rewards. Each reward has three challenges associated with it. To get a reward, you must complete any one of the three challenges.

You simply have to repeat this until you claim all seven rewards. Once done, the camo will be unlocked. You can then equip it on any Black Ops 6 weapon. To do so, head over to the Customize tab in Gunsmith and navigate to the Other Camos section. Here, you will find the Toxic Metal camo.
The camo depicts an animated metal sheet that’s been shot at. These bullet-impact animations change patterns over time. But that’s not all. If you own the new Season 6 BlackCell Battle Pass, you will also unlock a BlackCell variant of the Toxic Metal camo.
This variant provides the skin a more premium look. It switches the primary colors to neon green, making the camo more vibrant under darker conditions.
That covers just about everything that you need to know to unlock the Toxic Metal animated camo in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. However, do note that it is a reward in a limited-time event. The Echoes of the Dead event is set to conclude on October 23, 2025.
