Discover the brand new Slasher Deathmatch LTM in Black Ops 6 Season 6. Find out details on objectives, unique gameplay modifiers, and more.

Slasher Deathmatch LTM is the latest game mode in Black Ops 6 Season 6. This limited-time game mode takes a lot of inspiration from Infected, albeit with a few unique twists. Each match of Slasher Deathmatch lasts for four rounds, with a total of eight players per game. In each round, two out of the eight players are randomly assigned the role of Slasher.
Their objective? Eliminate the survivors. Needless to say, this horrifying mode is exactly on par with The Haunting theme of this season. So, without any further ado, let’s take a closer look at what this LTM entails.
What Is Slasher Deathmatch in Black Ops 6 Season 6?
As just discussed, Slasher Deathmatch LTM in Black Ops 6 Season 6 lasts for four rounds with eight players per match. The game chooses two players randomly from these eight players to become Slashers. These players assume the role of either Jason or Chucky. They gain unique abilities based on the role they have been assigned. We’ll be discussing these abilities shortly.

So, how does one win a match of Slasher Deathmatch? It is quite simple. Once the game chooses two players to become Slashers, they must hunt down the remaining six players before the round timer runs out. If the Slashers manage to do so, they win that round. The game selects a new pair of Slashers in each round. So, everyone in the lobby gets to play as one of the two Slashers.
Now, you might ask, what about the survivors? Their objective is simple. Survive each round and avoid elimination to earn points. Alternatively, they can also join forces to eliminate the Slashers.
Fortunately for the survivors, they gain unique abilities as well. These abilities change depending on the Slasher they must face in each round. For example, if a round starts with Jason Slashers, the survivors will have a different set of abilities than in a round with Chucky Slashers.
You might think that camping is a safe bet, then. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. Every 30 seconds, a survivor screams and gives away their position. Hence, if you don’t want to fight the Slashers, always keep moving and avoid getting caught.

Now that we have discussed the objectives and win conditions for this LTM, let’s also discuss the unique abilities that both Slashers and survivors bring to the fight.
All Abilities in Slasher Deathmatch in Black Ops 6 Season 6
Here are all the unique abilities in Slasher Deathmatch LTM in Black Ops 6 Season 6:
Slasher Deathmatch: Jason

If the round begins with Jason Slashers, then the following gameplay modifiers are applied:
- Slasher (Jason)
- Rage Mode (Scorestreak): Jason gains temporary immunity to stuns, and survivors won’t detect Jason until he is close. The Rage Mode lasts for 5 seconds. However, this timer pauses while Jason is pursuing a survivor.
- Teleport (Field Upgrade): Teleports Jason to a random survivor’s location.
- Stalking (Passive Ability): Jason moves at a faster pace when in active pursuit of a survivor and can descend upon them.
- Loadout: Jason carries a Machete as his weapon and a Combat Axe as his Lethal Equipment.
- Survivor
- Survivors start the round with a Flashbang and no weapons. But the final survivor is awarded with a Pickaxe that can eliminate Jason.
Slasher Deathmatch: Chucky

If it is a round of Chucky Slashers, then the following are all the abilities that the lobby gains:
- Slasher (Chucky)
- Extra Lives: The Slasher gets a total of six lives.
- Speed (Passive Ability): They move much faster than the survivors.
- Loadout: They carry a Combat Knife as their weapon and a Combat Axe as Lethal Equipment.
- Survivor Abilities
- Survivors carry a Shock Charge and a Molotov at the start of the round. However, unlike Slasher Deathmatch with Jason, these tend to recharge over time at a faster rate. For the final survivor, the recharge rate further increases.
These are all the abilities that both Slashers (Jason and Chucky) and survivors get in this mode. Needless to say, this is by no means a competitive mode and is meant for casual gameplay.
