Aside from the normal multiplayer modes, Activision has added a ton of hardcore and alternate modes to provide a unique experience to everyone. Core and Hardcore Modes

The difference between core and hardcore mode is the difficulty level. The objective remains the same, but hardcore mode introduces many restrictions that force players to choose every action carefully. Limited HUD, friendly fire, and lower health are the normal rules for a hardcore match. So, without any further ado, here are all the game modes that come under the core and hardcore categories:

Overload (New Mode)

  • Match Time: Varied
  • Score Limit: Varied
  • Party Size: 1-6
  • Objective: Bring the device to enemy zones and sabotage them

Team Deathmatch

  • Match Time: 10 minutes
  • Score Limit: 100
  • Party Size: 1-6
  • Objective: Eliminate enemy players to earn score

Domination

  • Match Time: Unlimited
  • Score Limit: 200
  • Party Size: 1-6
  • Objective: Capture, hold, and defend the objective to earn the highest score

Search and Destroy

  • Match Time: 2 Minutes per round
  • Score Limit: 6
  • Party Size: 1-6
  • Objective: Teams alternate between detonating and defusing a bomb (No Respawns)

Kill Confirmed

  • Match Time: 10 minutes
  • Score Limit: 75
  • Party Size: 1-6
  • Objective: Recover dog tags to score for your team and deny the enemy score

Free-For-All

  • Match Time: 10 minutes
  • Score Limit: 30
  • Party Size: 1
  • Objective: Eliminate enemies to earn score

Hardpoint

  • Match Time: 5 minutes
  • Score Limit: 250
  • Party Size: 1-6
  • Objective: Capture and hold the hardpoint zone to earn a score

Kill Order

  • Match Time: 10 minutes
  • Score Limit: 150
  • Party Size: 1-6
  • Objective: Eliminate enemy HVT and keep your HVT alive

Control

  • Match Time: 1 minute 30 seconds per round
  • Score Limit: 2
  • Party Size: 1-6
  • Objective: Take turns while attacking and defending zones

Face Off Moshpit

  • Objective: Moshpit of 6v6 with respawn allowed
