Augments in Black Ops 7 Zombies work to optimize your enhancements, such as Ammo Mods, Field Upgrades, and other Perks. It also gives you access to the Augments Research, which allows you to unlock even more Augments through actively researching your enhancements. However, to unlock this particular menu, you will have to reach a certain level in the game. How to Unlock Augment Research in Black Ops 7 Zombies
While Augment Research is a big part of how players experience COD Black Ops 7 Zombies, unlocking the feature is fairly simple. All you have to do is reach level 11 in Level Unlocks. Once you reach that point in the game, you get complete access to the Augment Research menu, and with it comes the freedom to experiment however you want.
Furthermore, according to Activision’s blog post, once unlocked, Augment Research becomes available to you permanently and does not relock. Also, any Augment-related content that you may have used or interacted with in Black Ops 6 will carry over to Black Ops 7 through the Augments menu.
At last, it is worth noting that you can use any already unlocked Augment from the get-go, but to use Augment Research particularly, you must unlock it through the mentioned process. Why Use Augment Research in Black Ops 7 Zombies
Augment Research in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Zombies offers many benefits. First of all, you can optimize your Ammo Mods, Field Upgrades, and Perks with various Augments and enhance them further. Each can have one major and one minor Augment attached to it.
Furthermore, Ammo Mods and Field Upgrades give you a total of eight Augments, divided into four major and four minor. Once you complete research for all enhancements, you get an additional second minor Augment Slot.
As we mentioned, while your Black Ops 6 Augment Research will carry over to Black Ops 7, you will still be able to unlock additional Augments by progressing and researching.
