Warzone Season 5 Reloaded is expected to release soon. The Season 5 update brought a plethora of new content for the shooter. Brand new weapons, a few LTMs, Verdansk changes, and many more. Now three weeks into the season, fans are anticipating the arrival of the mid-season update. Although Activision has yet to confirm a release date, fans have begun speculating the launch date based on previous releases.

So, without any further ado, let’s take a closer look at the expected release date for the upcoming mid-season update and explore all the content that has been confirmed so far.

When Is Warzone Season 5 Reloaded Expected to Release?

The Warzone Season 5 Reloaded update is expected to arrive on September 4, 2025. However, it can also be pushed back for a release later on September 11, 2025. It is worth noting here that these are merely speculations based on past trends. The current season began on August 7, 2025, and it’s set to conclude on October 9, 2025. Moreover, new Warzone seasons arrive on a Thursday.

Hence, if we consider the date that falls between the start and end date for Season 5, and also happens to be a Thursday, we get the dates September 4, 2025, or September 11, 2025.

Once again, do note that these are simply speculations. Call of Duty has yet to confirm the official release date for Season 5 Reloaded. That said, we do have confirmation for some of the content that’s arriving with the mid-season update.

What Is New in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded

Call of Duty has confirmed the following new pieces of content for Warzone Season 5 Reloaded:

Gravemark .357 Revolver

Fans are mostly awaiting the Gravemark .357 Revolver in Season 5 Reloaded. This weapon is a single-action eight-shooter with high damage and impressive range. It lacks in the fire rate and reload speed departments. However, it contains plenty of scope for attachments, e.g., Rapid Fire, Recoil Springs, or Akimbo, to make up for it. You will unlock the new “Hell Ride” event, which challenges you to “save the day from a ticking time bomb.”

Deadline LTM

Deadline is the new limited-time mode confirmed for Warzone Season 5 Reloaded. Here, besides survival, you must rack up points by eliminating enemies (both AI and human), completing contracts, looting, and spending cash at Buy Stations. Lives are unlimited, just like a game of Team Deathmatch. However, with each circle collapse, the team with the lowest score faces elimination. Additionally, scores reset with every new circle.

Mid-Season Events

Season 5 Reloaded introduces two major events:

  • Hell Ride: This event is tied directly to unlocking the Gravemark .357. It features objective-based and time-sensitive missions that players must complete to earn rewards.
  • Atomic Block Party: A celebration of the classic Nuketown map. The event will be themed around the map, and so will the rewards.

Gameplay Updates and Possible Meta Shifts

Reloaded updates usually bring a round of weapon balancing, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Usually, underperforming weapons receive buffs, and dominant meta picks receive a nerf. This brings a welcome shift in the meta. Moreover, UI enhancements, smoother inventory management, and clearer killfeed indicators could become part of the update.
