Can You Change Pose in PEAK?

Changing Pose in video games is a fun feature that results in some great in-game pictures. But does PEAK have it? Let’s take a look.

The ability to change your idle pose and choose something different is not a necessary feature by any means, but it is a welcome addition that adds another layer of engagement and fun in a game. PEAK is a climbing and survival title with a co-op experience at its core. Thus, such a feature would surely elevate the time you have with your friends while traversing tricky terrains.

Landfall’s 2025 entry already has similar mechanics, such as the Emotes, but does it feature different poses? The short answer is no, it does not. However, the community has expressed its interest in it, and the developers have taken note.

Players Cannot Change Pose in PEAK Yet

Since PEAK is built around a co-op experience, the emphasis and focus lie heavily on the fun aspects of the game and the core gameplay. Playing with your friends to enjoy some time together and build a bond takes centre stage in Landfall’s hit climbing title, and overall, the title does a pretty good job of providing the necessary features for it.

Mechanics such as emotes and various cosmetic items are already present to enhance the party-based camaraderie and can provide a joyful time. However, players who like to get quirky and fun in-game pictures with their friends will have to wait because PEAK does not have a Pose feature yet and is limited to the idle posture. Many players from the game’s community have already asked for the addition of the feature, especially during a run, so they can express themselves with style. But the developers have made it clear officially that there are no buttons or menu options to change poses in PEAK through the Steam Community Forum.

Team PEAK has acknowledged that they are aware of the situation and the request from the players. As of now, it is not out of consideration, but the devs are currently focusing on various multiplayer elements, stability, and additional content. Still, the pose-changing feature is a possibility for the future, and you might see it somewhere down the line with an update.

Try Some Different Ways for Now

The Pose feature is unavailable in PEAK. But if you still want to take some creative and quirky screenshots that show off your style and charisma, there is a different way to do that. The best option right now is to time your captures and click a screenshot while changing movements, climbing, or using the default posture. It is not the ideal way, but it works sometimes.
