In Dragon Quest 3 Remake, the appearance of your Hero cannot be changed after creation, but you can customize the appearance of your party members.
Square Enix’s Dragon Quest 3 Remake allows you to create and customize your character. It is also possible to create and recruit party members during your playthrough. You can choose the name, gender, hair color, vocation, and voice of your character. But what if you made any mistake during creation and want to change it? Is it possible to change the appearance of your characters in Dragon Quest 3 Remake?
Unfortunately, Dragon Quest 3 Remake doesn’t allow you to change the appearance and name of your protagonist (Hero). So you cannot change your name and appearance once your Hero is created.
However, this is not the case for your party members. Luckily, you can change the name or appearance of your party members during your playthrough as many times as you want. You can change almost everything about your party members except their gender. Let’s see how it should be done.
How to Change Party Members Appearance In Dragon Quest 3 Remake?
Changing the name and appearance of your party members will not be available until you reach Alltrades Abbey. Reaching Alltrades Abbey opens more options and functions for you. The Alltrades Abbey – Surroundings can be found north-west of Baharata.
Find Healizah at a corner on the right-side exterior of Alltrades Abbey. Interact with Healizah to unlock the options of customizing your party members’ appearance. This allows you to change the overall look, hair color, and voice of your party members using a small amount of gold coins.
How to Change Party Members Name In Dragon Quest 3 Remake?
Similar to the changing appearance, you can also change the name of your party member at Alltrades Abbey. Find the Servant of Appello at a corner at the left-side exterior of Alltrades Abbey to change the name.
Interacting with the Servant of Appello brings up an in-game keyboard. Type your desired name and confirm it to change the name of your party member.
