Read more to find out whether it is possible to gift a seasonal battle pass to your friends in Marvel Rivals.

The battle pass is one of the premium features that, unfortunately, you can’t gift to your friends in Marvel Rivals. While most games do offer the option to give out these seasonal passes, NetEase has designed the game not to include this mechanic for now.
The seasonal battle pass of Marvel Rivals contains most of the premium skins and cosmetics the game has to offer. For a small price and a lot of grind, you can unlock a ton of high-quality skins for various playable heroes and villains in the game. The grind aspect of this system is what incentivizes players to play with friends to make the journey all the more enjoyable.
But unfortunately, there is no way to gift a battle pass to your friends, unless, of course, you give them money and make them buy it themselves.

The Gifting System of Marvel Rivals

While you can’t necessarily gift a seasonal battle pass in Marvel Rivals, you can do so with most of the items available in the in-game store. This includes individual skins, bundles, sprays, emotes, and many more. However, you need to use Lattice, the premium currency of the game. You cannot use Units to gift various skins and cosmetics.
Lattice can be purchased through microtransactions. It’s used primarily for unlocking premium content, including the seasonal battle pass in Marvel Rivals. If you want to surprise a friend with a new skin for their favorite character, gifting through Lattice is the only current option. However, since the battle pass is considered a separate purchase outside of the normal shop, it falls outside of this gifting system.

Will Marvel Rivals Allow Battle Pass Gifting in the Future?

For now, there are no official announcements from NetEase about the possibility of gifting a battle pass in the future. That said, many fans in the community have voiced their support for such a feature. This is because gifting passes has become standard in many other live-service games. Whether NetEase will implement this in a future update remains to be seen, but it would certainly be a welcome addition.
