Simply put, yes, you will be able to play Black Ops 7 Zombies during the Open Beta. That said, don’t expect all the launch content to be accessible in the beta. Fans will have access to only one mode called Survival. Veteran Zombies fans who have been playing since Black Ops 2 should already be familiar with Survival mode. The Survival mode in Black Ops 7 Zombies, as the name suggests, is all about survival. In this mode, there are no quests to complete or storylines to explore. Players must fight against hordes of zombies and survive as long as they can. That said, this is not a new mode. It appeared in Black Ops 2 and will return in BO7 Zombies when it releases later this year.

Unlike the standard Zombies experience, in Survival mode, players are limited to only a part of the map. This time, the crew will journey into a section of the Ashes of the Damned map within the Dark Aether universe. This area of the map is known as the Vandorn Family Farm.
Here, players must face wave upon wave of the undead, with each new wave introducing stronger enemies to the fight. There is no end goal here. Survive and push through as many rounds as possible. Since survival in such a small area can be challenging, Call of Duty is making sure that players have the right tools at their disposal within this limited area.
To facilitate this, developers are including Crafting Tables, Wall Buys, and more in Vandorn Family Farm, which will not be present in the same locations as in the standard mode. Doing so ensures that players have a fair chance at fighting back the undead. That said, anytime things become overwhelming, they can choose to exfil safely as well.
As announced in the official gameplay reveal trailer, Survival will be the only Zombies mode available in the Open Beta, which is all set to kick off on October 2, 2025. Once the beta kicks off, you’ll be able to access the Zombies mode from the game’s main menu.
