The GTA 5 Enhanced on PC is available for preload if you own it in the Rockstar Games Launcher or Steam. The update promises a ton of new content for the game. This includes enhanced graphics and new content that was previously exclusive to the console versions of the game.
However, there are a few downsides to upgrading your GTA 5 Legacy game to the Enhanced version. One example is the larger file size. Additionally, the graphics improvements might also demand more performance from your system.

How Big Is the GTA 5 Enhanced Update Size?
According to the Steam preload section for the GTA 5 Enhanced edition, the download size is around 92GB. Keep in mind that it will download a new version of GTA 5. This means you will need to have enough space for both the Legacy and Enhanced versions. Don’t forget to transfer your save files so you can still play your story-mode progress in the new, upgraded version.
Another important detail to keep in mind is that cross-play between different versions is not supported. If you choose to remain on the GTA 5 Legacy version, you won’t be able to join friends who have upgraded to the Enhanced Edition.
Is There a Preload for GTA 5 Enhanced on PC?
You can preload GTA 5 Enhanced via Steam or Rockstar Games Launcher. However, if you own the game via Epic Games Launcher, there is no preload option. You will have to wait for the update to drop and download the free upgrade.
