Here are five memorable characters we think Rockstar Games can bring back from previous games in the series to GTA 6.

Across the series, Grand Theft Auto has developed a diverse cast of characters who have left a lasting impression. Some were notable because of their interesting personalities, memorable quirks, or plain influence on the story of the game. Whether it’s a DJ who always gets himself caught up in the midst of chaos, an unspoken but deadly protagonist, or an unpredictable criminal mastermind, these characters have left their marks in gaming history.
If Rockstar wants to add some nostalgia to GTA 6, these are five characters we believe should return from previous games in the series.

5. Lazlow Jones

Played by Jeffrey Crawford, “Lazlow” Jones, Lazlow Jones has been a frequent media character across the GTA franchise. Having initially appeared to host numerous in-game radio stations in various titles, Lazlow physically appeared in GTA 5 and directly interacted with players during missions. What makes him memorable is his satirical commentary on pop culture and media, which provided comic relief as well as social commentary. Bringing back Lazlow in GTA 6 would carry on this trend, providing the player with a voice of familiarity while they are driving around Vice City.

4. Claude

Claude is the mute protagonist of GTA 3. He is famous for his stoic attitude and mysterious character. The fact that he has not said a word since his debut in GTA 3 has generated a mystery around him in the eyes of fans. Bringing back Claude in GTA 6 would mean a chance to know more about his past or his life after GTA 3. Rockstar Games could perhaps shed some light on this character’s motives and personality.

3. Luis Fernando Lopez

Luis Fernando Lope is the main protagonist of “The Ballad of Gay Tony” expansion for GTA 4. He comes across as a devoted and ethical character. His complex relationship with Tony Prince and his efforts within Liberty City’s nightclub scene demonstrated his depth and strength.
No one knows what happened to him after the story. This means Luis’s comeback in GTA 6 could be a good way to reintroduce him to old and new fans. If he does return, it’s a good opportunity to reveal how he has changed.

2. Roman Bellic

Niko Bellic’s cousin, Roman Bellic, in GTA 4, is distinguished by his idealistic nature and business acumen. When the character was first introduced, a lot of people found him annoying. It makes sense that he contacts you frequently just for a bowling session. But as time went on, people started to warm up to Roman.
Though given to causing trouble, Roman’s unshakeable faith in the American Dream, as well as devotion to Niko, made him likable to fans. His return in GTA 6 might introduce continuity and some nostalgia, quite possibly highlighting his activities in another city.
Additionally, his fate in GTA 4 depends on the choices players make, leaving his fate uncertain after the game’s story ends. If Rockstar brings him back, it could finally establish a true canon ending for GTA 4. It’s a revelation that longtime fans would most likely appreciate.

As much as we love all three protagonists in GTA 5, Trevor Philips stood out among the group. He is infamous for his uncontrollable and violent nature. His complex personality, characterized by both brutality and uncharacteristic sympathy, made him a popular character. Bringing back Trevor in GTA 6 could delve into what happened to him after his escapades. Furthermore, it would be great to see if he has achieved some sort of peace or continues leading his wild life.
