Here’s a detailed explanation guide on all classes and weapons players can expect at launch from Chrono Odyssey.

Chrono Odyssey allows players the freedom to choose their class and weapons like many fantasy RPGs. Since the game isn’t officially out yet, the combat classes and weapons can stir some confusion among fans aspiring to play it. Don’t worry, though. The game’s beta testing has started and we are here to decode them all. Although the beta permits gameplay for only three classes, we will cover all six classes planned for full release and their weapons.
All Classes and Weapons in Chrono Odyssey
Swordsman

Let’s start off with a melee class. The Swordsman class doesn’t play too differently from a “tank” class in any RPG game but still has plenty of damage output tools at its disposal. The primary weapons that this class can utilize are sword and shield, greatsword, and dual blades. All of these weapons offer a different playstyle. Since their strength is fueled by Rage, you will find them excelling even in prolonged combat.
Assassin

The primary weapons of an Assassin in Chrono Odyssey are sabre, wrist blades, and musket. The primary playstyle for this class is eliminating enemies from a distance and catching them off guard with your stealth skills. They wield the power of darkness and draw upon Vigor and Bloodlust to keep their enemies in check. Although not excellent in open combat, they can still defend themselves with their choice of weapons.
Berserker

If you wanted a tank in the game, the Berserker class is here. They are powerhouses who can fight furiously on the battlefield. Their weapons include chain blades, twin axes, and battle axe. They are also fueled by Rage and hold aggro in battles to lay waste to all enemies. It is only when all the enemies have been defeated that they will finally rest.
Ranger

An essential class to have in an RPG like Chrono Odyssey is “Ranger”. These are masters of ranged combat and can deal with enemies from a distance. They don’t necessarily have to creep around like Assassins in shadows. Instead, Rangers are well known to assist their team without getting their hands dirty up close. However, in times of need, they have exposure to a close-combat weapon like a rapier and two ranged weapons like a bow and a crossbow. Their strong connection with nature allows them to draw from Vigor.
Sorcerer

People who enjoy playing with the forces of magic can opt to play as the Sorcerer class when Chrono Odyssey fully releases. They are masters of magic who can put down their enemies and support allies with their arcane powers. Their weapons have different purposes. While a staff can channel elemental energy to destroy enemies, the manasphere exposes enemy weaknesses using time as its tool. Lastly, grimoire can heal allies with the help of a radiant light. Unlike other classes mentioned above, their magic is a result of Mana.
Paladin

Those who wish to protect their teammates should learn the Paladin class. Their weapons serve a variety of purposes. While the lance can deflect attacks, the halberd is the primary damage dealer here. Not to forget that the mace heals allies and deals damage to enemies simultaneously. Paladins are equipped with divine force and draw upon Mana to keep fighting for a just cause.
