The Chromatic Aberration boss has no weaknesses and is resistant to Dark. Therefore, we recommend bringing in your highest damage-dealing members. If you’re bringing in Sciel for this fight, we recommend sticking to the Sealed Fate + Focused Foretell as your only source of damage.
Once the fight kicks off, there are a few attacks you need to watch for. The first is the forward slash. This attack is the easiest of the bunch, and you simply have to jump over it. The second attack, Earthquake, is also a jump attack but with two hits. You’ll have to jump over the first strike and then Gradient Counterattack the second.
The next attack you have to watch for is the Light Strikes. This is a two-hit combo where the boss swings its sword from the right twice. The first swing is predictable, but the second one comes immediately after. Parry the first strike and press the button again immediately after. The Light Combo is another one you have to watch for. This 7-hit combo is predictable for the most part. Just keep in mind that the 6th hit comes a little faster than the rest.
The last set of attacks is the Dark Strike and Dark Combo. The Dark Strike is a standard attack and easy to parry. The combo variant is a little longer, with 6 hits, but retains the easy parry timings.
