How To Beat Chromatic Clair Obscur in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

As stated earlier, the boss has no weaknesses, so you must rely on your strongest members. Any build works as long as you bring debuff cleansers. The Chromatic Clair Obscur regularly applies debuffs, and skills such as Lune’s Healing Light will bail you out.
As far as attacks go, the Chromatic Clair Obscur has four. The first is the slow attack, where the boss uses two delayed strikes to hit you. This can be tough to read, but the trick is to look at the sword. The sword glows twice before each swing, giving you your cue to parry. Parry right after the second glow to avoid each swing and counterattack.
The second attack you need to watch for is the fast attack. This is a four-hit combo with the first three being regular strikes and the fourth being a gradient attack. The boss swings the sword just after the first glow, so use that as your cue. After three parries, be prepared to use a gradient parry for the final strike.
The third attack is the silencing combo, where the Chromatic Clair Obscur launches its swords at you. Once again, the glows are your cue to parry.
The final attack is the weakening strike, where the boss leaps into the air and launches towards you. The swords glow thrice, after which he lunges. Parry right after the third glow to counterattack.
