Where To Find Glissando in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
Defeating Glissando is a must if you wish to continue the story in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. This story boss can be found near the Sirene checkpoint, close to the Crumbling Path. Glissando’s character design is unique, since this enemy boss isn’t a humanoid but a massive behemoth covered with cloth. As mentioned earlier, Glissando may look invincible, but it can be taken down if you exploit its weaknesses and strategize.
After defeating Tisseur, an optional boss, proceed to the right platform and follow the path. Smaller enemies will be in the way; rest up at the Crumbling Path checkpoint, where you can see Glissando waiting in the arena. Glissando’s Fight Patterns and Weaknesses
Glissando has a few moves, but most can be evaded like every other attack. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has real-time and turn-based combat, meaning each character takes turns. This enemy boss is susceptible to the following elements:
- Dark
- Ice
It is best to equip items with these elements to inflict status effects. Avoid using other elements during the fight and spam attacks to deal maximum damage. Glissando will be on the offensive and has a few attacks you should look out for. This boss can charge towards your party and cause a powerful slam attack; however, it is possible to parry.
You must brush up on your parry and dodge skills to avoid taking damage in this fight. Other attacks, like casting charms, can be countered by anti-charm Pictos or by simply dodging them. Glissando will sometimes use its tail to strike party members, but you can parry incoming attacks. Keep spamming elemental attacks and countering incoming strikes until Glissando is defeated.
Glissando Drops and Rewards
After defeating Glissando, you will receive a new outfit for Lune, 2820 Chroma, 43248 XP, and a Resplendent Chroma Catalyst for your efforts. While the extra cosmetic item is a decent reward, the Resplendent Chroma Catalyst allows you to upgrade weapons.
These worthwhile rewards allow you to improve your party’s gear and stats as you move on to the next challenge. Glissando may not be the hardest boss in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, but it can give you a run for your money if you walk in unprepared.
