Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has a massive world, filled with tons of bosses to test your mettle against. While most of these bosses are pretty straightforward, the Lampmaster is a boss that requires a bit of thinking. This thinking comes not directly in the bossfight itself, but in the puzzle you have to solve beforehand. The Lampmaster is, therefore, not only tricky to beat, but trickier to access.

How To Find the Lampmaster in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
The Lampmaster can be accessed by solving the Painting Workshop mystery puzzle in the game. This puzzle requires you to collect three items from the Faceless Boy. These items are the Light, the Heart, and the Shape of the Beast. Collect these items from the NPC and then place those items on the statues in their respective levels. Then, use the Light of the Beast three times and unlock the Lampmaster boss fight.
How To Beat the Lampmaster in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Before you think about dishing out top-tier offense, you first need to know the boss’ moveset. The boss has several moves it uses, but the first one you want to watch out for is its projectile attack. Lampmaster will switch on the lights and launch its lamps at you to deal damage.
To avoid this attack, you need to shoot the lamps the first chance you get. You need to shoot four floating lamps. Dispose of the lamps and you cut off one ofthe stronger moves the boss has. Keep in mind that the boss can inflict a Dizzy effect if you fail to stop this attack.
Next, the boss tends to move around a lot and will frequently jump. Brace yourself for the jumps and parry this attack to open the boss for a counterattack. The boss also uses basic strikes and slashes, but those are much easier to deal with. Parry all of his attacks and use counterattacks to demolish the boss.
