Clair Obscur Expedition 33, the latest RPG from Sandfall Interactive, features an expansive world with a unique fast travel system. While fast travel is a staple in modern RPGs, the way it functions here is slightly different than the traditional one.
The game features various regions like Spring Meadows, Flying Waters, and Ancient Sanctuary. Travelling within one region works differently from travelling between regions. This guide breaks down everything you need to know about Fast Travel and how it works in Clair Obscur Expedition 33.

How To Fast Travel in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
The game includes several regions such as Spring Meadows, Flying Waters, Ancient Sanctuary, Abbest Cave, and Gestral Village. When you are exploring a region, you can fast travel to other areas within the same region—but only if you have previously visited them. This can be done through the Expedition Flags, placed by the previous Expedition teams. Approaching these Expedition Flags unlocks the fast travel option for that area.
If you found one of these Expedition Flags, interact with them to bring up the Fast Travel option. Click the option to view the available (unlocked) fast travel destinations within the region and choose one of them to fast travel to that location. These Expedition Flags serve as a Rest Point, allowing players to rest, upgrade their attributes, and learn new skills.

How To Travel to Different Regions in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Traveling across the different regions is possible via the Continent, which functions like a separate mini-game. Players need to traverse through the different realms on the overworld map to travel to other regions. While the entire Continent overworld map may seem vast at first, it doesn’t take long to cross from one side to the other.
Moreover, progressing through the storyline unlocks the Esquie ability, which allows players to mount the Legendary Esquie to get through different realms by swimming or flying over them. As you explore the overworld, you will find portal openings for different regions. Interacting with the portal on the Continent takes you into the corresponding region.
