Every game has its own version of potions that heal, restore power, and revive party members. In the case of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, these potions are called tints. Each time you rest in the game, they refill automatically, so you do not have to worry about using too much of them.
Upgrading tints is a whole task in itself because you cannot just spend money or points to level them up. Each tint has a specific role; therefore, you will need a specific item to upgrade one, and this article is all about it.

How To Get All Tint Upgrades in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has three tints, and you can upgrade each one twice. In order to upgrade them, you’ll have to speak to the Curator, who can be found right next to your campsite.
For those who are not familiar with Curator, he appears in the story not long after you reach the Flying Waters area. With the help of this being, you can upgrade your weapons, tints, and other expedition resources. Without any further ado, here’s how you can upgrade your tints:
Healing Tint
As the name suggests, you can use the healing tint to recover some portion of your health. When fighting strong enemies, you might get hit with some attacks, and this will save your life.
To upgrade your healing tint, you’ll need two Shapes of Health. The first one can be acquired by killing Goblu in Flying Waters. And for the second one, you’ll have to enter the Manor via the Sirene region door. You will enter a bathroom with a big mirror. Just shoot the mirror and collect your second Shape of Health.

Energy Tint
This tint helps in regaining some of that AP, which helps in using skills. This tint can be upgraded with the help of Shape of Energy. Just like others, there are two of them in the game. One is found in the Manor, but you can only access that area of the Manor by going through a gate in Gestral Village. From there, you will enter the kitchen. Just look around the area until you find a trapdoor. Head down and go under the stairs to grab the first Shape of Energy.
The second Shape of Energy is also located inside the Manor, but this time it’s in the library. Access the library from the world map Manor door located near Crushing Cavern. Go upstairs and reach the other side to grab the second Shape of Energy.

Revive Tint
Revive tint can be very useful when fighting bosses, as they can knock allies very easily. You can upgrade this tint by using Shape of Life. This item is acquired by defeating the Lampmaster, who is a boss located in the Stone Wave Cliffs region. As of now, we are not familiar with the location of the second Shape of Life.
