Breaking Death is another offensive Pictos you can collect in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. While most Pictos can deal more damage or increase your character’s defense, this item has a different function. You can acquire a handful of different Pictos as you travel the Continent, and each one can benefit the party.
This item isn’t a traditional Picto that can provide boosts, especially since the perks only activate at the moment of death. Learn more about where you can find it and what it brings to the table.

Where Can You Find the Breaking Death Pictos in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
While exploring the Continent to reach a new area, you can fight a variety of enemies in between. The Thunder Eveque is a powerful variant located east of the Stone Wave Cliffs, and it is not to be trifled with. If you are up for the challenge, spam earth-based attacks to exploit its weakness and defeat it quickly.
Once the Thunder Eveque is defeated, you will automatically receive the Breaking Death Pictos. This item doesn’t grant passive perks, but it can be an excellent failsafe for difficult encounters.
The Breaking Death Pictos Has A Few Pros and Cons

Death is always a possibility, and every member of Expedition 33 who swore the oath knew it. Nevertheless, equip this item to a party member, and once they succumb to their injuries, this will automatically trigger the Picto to take effect. Any enemy will reach their breaking limit at the moment of death, allowing the surviving characters to continue the fight.
