While looking for Esquie’s special rock at the Stone Wave Cliffs, you can encounter a friendly NPC called Hexga. An abandoned creation is sitting in the area, waiting for a good Samaritan to do it a favor and collect its rocks. Doing so will grant you the Auto Shell Pictos, but there is another item you can acquire by being hostile towards Hexga.

Instead of giving them a hand, you must attack this NPC to acquire the Confident Pictos. After Hexga is down, they will drop the Pictos, and it is yours for the taking. The acquisition process is twisted and messed up, but the item you get in return is worthwhile.
