Where Can You Find the Empowering Parry Pictos in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
After Esquie regains his ability to fly with passengers, the surviving members of Expedition 33 can fully explore the Continent. Head to the Flying Manor before facing Renoir at Lumiere and tie up loose ends. In the Flying Manor, you can meet Fusoka, the local Gestral Merchant. These NPCs are the in-game vendors and shopkeepers that can trade useful items like weapons, cosmetic items, upgrade resources, and Pictos with you.
Fusoka will not sell the Empowering Parry Pictos right off the bat, not until you defeat them in battle. Select your best party member and take on the Gestral Merchant. Once the fight is over, you can have full access to their inventory and purchase the Pictos for 97,800 Chroma.
Successful Parries Can Lead to a Damage Boost
Clair Obscur Expedition 33 honors the traditional turn-based combat mechanics but adds a few changes. You can dodge and parry incoming attacks; however, it can be challenging to get the timing right. With the Empowering Parry Pictos, your parries can increase your damage output by 5%, which is a significant leap and can be used for tougher encounters.
