There are a handful of explorable areas around the Continent. Once you stumble into the Endless Night Sanctuary, you can find different enemies and secret boss battles. While it is easy to assume one of these enemies is keeping the weapon, that is not the case. Find the local Gestral merchant called Anthonypo and challenge him to a duel. You can spot Anthonypo on a high platform and purchase most of their wares, but the weapon can be unlocked after winning a fight.

After defeating Anthonypo, they will happily sell the Guleson at the cost of 64,699 Chroma, which is an expensive yet worthy investment. Like every other weapon, you can use your Chroma Catalysts to upgrade it and have access to new perks. These are all the perks that come with the Guleson:

  • Level 4: On Twilight Start, apply Mark to all enemies.
  • Level 10: Hitting a Marked enemy during Twilight doesn’t remove Mark.
  • Level 20: Apply 3 Foretell on applying Mark.

One of the best parts about the Guleson is that it is already at level 25 by default. It is convenient, and you could save a lot of Chroma Catalysts in exchange for Chroma, and you get all the perks. Here is a brief overview of the Guleson’s stats and how it could give Sciel a strategic advantage:

WeaponGuleson
Character Sciel
Attributes Luck and Agility
Max Power 3132
Element Lightning

Another great feature is that Sciel’s Foretell can apply Mark on enemies, which lowers their defenses and gives the party more authority. Other members of Expedition 33 can deal more damage without worrying about the enemy’s attacks. As a damage dealer, weakening enemies is a strategy that is often overlooked, and the Guleson can get the job done.
