There are a few ways to acquire the Potierim; one method requires fighting a boss, and the other still involves a bit of Chroma. The first way to get this weapon is to explore the Flying Waters and fight the Bourgeon. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has no shortage of hidden bosses, and these often drop the best items. The Bourgeon is susceptible to lightning damage and will drop the Potierim or an upgrade if you acquired it earlier.

Another way to get this weapon is to find Cribappa, a merchant found in Lumiere that sells items like the Volesterum. After winning the fight, Cribappa will sell you a level 15 variant that goes for 27,360 Chroma. Here are all the passive perks you get for upgrading the Potierim:

  • Level 4: Healing Skills generate one additional 1 Light stain.
  • Level 10: Consuming a Light Stain applies Slow to a random enemy.
  • Level 20: Base Attack generates a Light Stain.
