Where Can You Find the Protecting Attack Pictos in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
After regaining her memories as a Painter, Maelle resurrects her fallen allies and summons the souls of those who came before. These are all part of her plan to take over Lumiere from Renoir and kick him out by force. However, it is a point of no return, and you can now take the time to explore the world to find better gear and weapons.
Fly to the Endless Night Sanctuary with Esquie, and find Anthonypo, the local Gestral Merchant. This Gestral can be spotted at the end of the area by itself. This merchant is easy to spot, considering they are much taller and leaner than others.
Approach the merchant and scroll through their wares, but the Protecting Attack Pictos will be locked until you beat them in a fight. Select your strongest fighter and defeat them. You can buy the Pictos for 100,050 Chroma.
Base Attacks Can Grant You Shields in Battle
This Pictos can make base attacks much more viable. With the Protecting Attack Pictos, your party members can gain a shield with each base attack for each turn. This can be farmed if you have other Pictos like Cheater to gain another turn immediately.
