After gaining access to the Monolith, Expedition 33 carefully worked their way up to the top. You will revisit older areas you have explored in your playthrough, and it shows that the entire structure is a figment of the Paintress’ memories. Make your way to the Tainted Sanctuary section, a copy of the Ancient Sanctuary, and fight through Sakapatates.

Instead of following the main path, take a left from the large arena and crawl through a tiny hole. There will be a Paint Break nearby, and beyond it is a Paint Cage. Destroy all the nearby seals in the area to break the cage and pick up the Random Defense Pictos. Equip it to any member in your party and win four battles to acquire the Lumina.

The real perk that the Random Defense Pictos can offer is the slim chance of decreasing the amount of damage you receive. On the other hand, it can also increase it and leave your party member vulnerable. We wouldn’t recommend you use this Pictos unless your build heavily relies on low health damage.
