Discover how you can complete the Manor Kitchen Puzzle in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Also learn what you get by solving it.
The Manor is a special location in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. You enter it during your exploration of the Flying Waters region to find Maelle and the Curator inside. However, at this point, exploring the huge manor reveals that all of its many doors are locked. As you progress through the game, you’ll find doors in the Continent that connect those regions to the Manor.
Almost every part of the Manor holds some secret to uncover. For instance, you can enter the Kitchen section of this location and solve a puzzle there. In this guide, we’ll explain how to find and then solve the Manor Kitchen Puzzle in Clair Obscur Expedition 33.
How To Get To the Kitchen in the Manor
You won’t be able to access the Manor’s kitchen from inside. Instead, you’ll need to progress far enough in the game to reach the Gestral Village. Now, follow the directions mentioned below:
- Step 1: Take a right from the Chief’s house in the Gestral Village.
- Step 2: Walk along the right path until you see the ‘Turn Back’ sign. Go through the road right underneath this sign.
- Step 3: Move forward down this road until you reach a door that goes inside the Manor kitchen.

How To Solve the Manor Kitchen Puzzle in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Upon entering the Kitchen, you’ll see a door on the other side that is locked. Returning through the door you came from actually sends you back to the Entrance Hall of the Manor, where there’s a rest flag. You will have to head out the Manor’s main door to go back to the Gestral Village. However, go back to the Kitchen because there’s more to unearth there.
While in the kitchen, interact with the following three items:
- The pot in the middle of the three rows of pots
- The candle on the table next to the window
- The Head Statue
After interacting with all three, head across the room to where a couple of barrels are, and you’ll see that a secret trapdoor on the floor is now open. Jump down and then head through a broken section in the wall. In the following room, you’ll find a crate with the Shape of Energy item. You can use this item to upgrade the Energy Tint.
After that, proceed upwards through the stairs and open the door. This door will take you back to the Kitchen. Basically, this is the locked door on the other side of the Kitchen that you were unable to access before.
